Praise for Benny H. V. Andersson
"For this artist the act of painting appears to be a deeply
spiritual process of revealing the divinity of nature. He communicates
his intent to elevate the viewer through stylized form and universal
religious and spiritual symbols. The symmetrical compositions and
idealized imagery evoke the mystical yearning within the soul for
the infinite
"
Manhattan Arts International Magazine
"His
art relates to nature and its environment, however, even more so
to Christian allusion; birth, life, death-hope, suffering, dismissal
and love. Symbols-space and the stars
There is an emotional
closeness between the artist, the painting and the viewer that feels
alive and true
his art awakens numerous questions about our
existence
The balance between the unknown and the tangible
is harmonious and gently expressed
"
City of Trollhattan Daily Newspaper, Sweden
"Andersson shows meticulously detailed fantastic landscapes
in which angels and vistas of distant spires commingle with waterfalls
that turn into starry cosmos, creating fascinating counter worlds
of the imagination."
