Angel Leaving Landscape, clay, glass and beads, 17" x 17" x 6"

"When my twin sister Carol was diagnoised with stage 3 breast cancer I made angels
to cheer her and offer hope. She lived ten years with metastatic illness.
Just before she died I made, "Angel Leaving Landscape," it is wearing red shoes
as Carol always talked about the end as, "going home," from the wizard of Oz.
I still create angels in her memory."
