Joan de Bot has also painted landscapes and cityscapes inspired by her extensive travels to Cyprus, Scotland, Australia, Italy, and the United States, where she has also had exhibitions of her work. She has created a series of paintings inspired by the rough and industrial elements indigenous to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. These works have been featured in an exhibition in the Gloria Kennedy Gallery, DUMBO, Brooklyn, NY. She has also had many exhibitions in Amsterdam, Scotland and Denmark.
