"Painting is meditation for me. I find painting to be a healing experience. It brings me joy, and I wish to pass that joy on to the viewer. The beauty in Nature, especially the ocean, inspires my paintings. Observing nature, really seeing and feeling it, enables me to work without a predetermined design. I am never certain where a painting will lead me -- it is my spirit in action."
