Rosetta Bentz was born in Calabria, Italy and grew up in New York. She is a painter, collage-maker, potter and paper-maker and regularly exhibits both locally and nationally. She is endlessly fascinated by the earth’s beauty -- the power, the stillness, the rawness, the abstractness, the seemingly irregularity and perfection. Continuously in awe and inspired by Nature, this is her guide and muse. Her affinity for color and texture are evident in a body of work that shouts with life, urgency, anticipation and new beginnings.
