Susan Titus is a native of California, who grew up with a deep appreciation for the striking beauty and surprising variety of colors in the natural landscape. Her mother, Vivian Cook, a well established oil painter, influenced Susan at a young age. She has memories of painting together all of her early life. As a young adult, she studied art in college. When she later moved to New York City, an appreciation for the urban landscape was awakened.
