Working primarily in watercolor on paper and canvas, the artist states: “The primary intent of my work is to capture memories: I believe in art as a souvenir of potent life experiences.” This impetus behind her art results in having numerous collectors of her work worldwide. The very fluid and spontaneous nature of watercolor seems an appropriate medium of choice for Susan as she seems to have an effortless, fresh, and immediate rapport with her surroundings. In all of her paintings a sense of harmony prevails.
