Victoria Martin was
born in Chicago and grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood near the
University of Chicago. Having both parents as educators instilled
in her a love of academics as well as art; twin passions that would
inspire her imaginative and striking paintings. She has earned both
a BA and an MFA in Visual Arts from the School of the Art Institute
of Chicago.
