For 30 years I have been helping artists advance their careers because I have a passion to do this. I learned a long time ago as an art student myself at The Art Students League that art schools provide wonderful art studio techniques but do not prepare artists for successful careers. I decided to fill that void by becoming an expert in the business of being an artist.

I have been blessed with having the opportunity to counsel thousands of full- and part-time artists and agents from around the globe working in a wide range of styles and media. Their ages, education and ethnic backgrounds are as diverse as their professions that support their art. I have counseled administrators, educators and advertising executives, one of the Beatles’ personal photographers, a Nobel Prize winner, a well-known television actor, the grandchild of a famous Surrealist, and a noted plastic surgeon.

Aspiring and established artists have sought my advice on a variety of subjects from creating a business plan, to selecting the right gallery for their work and how to appproach, to generating publicity for their upcoming exhibition -- and everything in between!

I will share my knowledge and experience with you.

My career has been extremely rewarding. My vast experience in NYC as an artists' advocate, curator, arts writer, author (three books) including the best seller "The Complete Guide to New York Art Galleries", public speaker, art magazine editor and publisher (17 years), Founder/Director of Manhattan Arts International "A Network of Artrepreneurs", and Founder/Director of The Healing Power of Art has given me tremendous insight into the workings of the art business world.

My please is in providing an abundance of experience, knowledge, resources and references to help artists of all styles, mediums and career levels.

Plus, I also know firsthand how challenging it is to be a professional artist. I was a self-supporting artist before deciding to be "The Artrepreneur Coach."

My greatest career achievement is helping creative individuals discover their strengths, visualize their dreams, and achieve their highest potential.
