“As director of Manhattan Arts International I take a personal interest in promoting our members. With a skilled technical team I oversee and manage the artists’ promotional pages and social media posts.” ~ Renée Phillips, Founder & Director

We have a selection process and specific criteria in order to promote artists who have achieved professional excellence in their chosen mediums and styles.

Members of Manhattan Arts International receive many promotional benefits. We have different options to choose from including a membership category that is limited to only a few artists  to give them our personalized attention.

In April, 2017 we will be accepting applications for new members. At that time, if you are interested in applying, send me an email with a link to your website and mention that you’re interested in becoming a member.

      1. Hi,
I would like to call myself an emerging artist in the field of assemblage art (found art). I scoured afield in an attempt to bring to the art world the focus of my imagination. I would like to start this from the groundfloor with a subscription to your free EMAIL Newsletter and eventually knock on the door for a Whitney Bienniel invitation.
        Thank you

At least 50 outstanding contemporary women artists will be shown. Here is a link to the information page about HERStory Read the statements from the Award givers on this page: I think you will find their statements very enlightening.

  3. Hello,
When will you be reviewing new artists to your website and opportunities for artists? I am a French (from Paris) painter who is interested in submitting my work for view. My website is… Marcus

    1. Dear Marcus,
Thank you for your interest in Manhattan Arts International. After the HERStory exhibition we will be accepting entries from artists for The Healing Power of ART annual exhibition. I must inform you that it’s necessary for artists to have a website and one that offers an English translation for visitors. It appears you have a blog and it is in French only.
      Best regards,
      Renee Phillips, Director

  4. Renee,

I know a artist in New York City who is interested in becoming a member of Manhattan Arts International. He currently teaches at two community colleges in the city. His work has been in a gallery in Athens and some in the city. How can he become a member of your group?

    1. Hi Jules,
Thank you for your interest on behalf of your friend. We are in the process of designing a new website for Manhattan Arts International that will showcase our members’ art better than ever. The new site will be launched in the spring. Please ask your friend to visit us then when the details for how to apply for membership will be posted.
      Best regards,
      Renee Philips
