When selecting the top awards, I am not only choosing works of art for an exhibition, I am also choosing under-recognized artists to promote  to our widespread international audience. ”

“In the selection process, I will be searching for the spirit and vision of the artist as expressed by the story she tells through the art she creates. I lean towards art that is focused on social issues, and of the human condition with the intention to challenge prescribed social norms. I look for works that evoke a response and inspire reflective thought and dialogue with the intention to “change the world through art”. The artist should demonstrate a unique voice and style and have perfected their craft.”
